2nd Annual Run for the Ridge 5K and Fun Run - Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 8:00 a.m.
On March 23, 2012 we held our 2nd annual run at Marvin Ridge High School, with almost 500 runners! Everyone had a great time during the run reading the foreign language signs along the course, and the Fun Run runners enjoyed the tunnel they ran through! We continue to receive rave reviews, from starting on-time, having lots of food and water for the runners, music and all the festivities, custom medals, and over 30 wonderful raffle prizes including NASCAR autographed door panels, tablet PC, Mustang Camp, running shoes and much more!
This year we combined with the following schools in order to reach more of the community and share the profits:
* Marvin Elementary PTO
* Rea View Elementary PTA
* Sandy Ridge Elementary PTA
* Marvin Ridge Middle PTSO
* Marvin Ridge High PTSO
